Alyssa Ney
Department of Philosophy, University of California, Davis
Professor Ney gave a public lecture entitled "Separability, Locality, and Higher Dimensions in Quantum Mechanics” on September 17, 2016 at the University of Geneva. We are pleased to report that it was attended by about 60-70 people. The lecture describes the case that can be made for a high-dimensional ontology in quantum mechanics based on the virtues of avoiding both nonseparability and nonlocality. More information can be fund in her paper Separability, Locality, and Higher Dimensions in Quantum Mechanics.
